Manpower is recruiting a candidate to fill a direct hire opportunity for a Planner/ Buyer at our customers Dubois PA. facility. Responsibilities: Purchases materials or parts using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels. Establish production schedules and issue shop orders to support production schedules. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinate the efficient movement of material with purchasing, production and engineering. Ensure accurate inventory through analysis, cycle counting, proper storage methods, and computer/system tools. Monitor and process customer return materials. Monitor scrap transactions to ensure proper inventory transactions are processed. The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Management, Business Logistics, Marketing or equivalent experience in purchasing or materials. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
